The Myers Sisters are thrilled and honored to share their comedic narrative short film, CounterTransference at The de Young Open 2023 on view from September 30, 2023 – January 7, 2024 in San Francisco, CA. It will be screened on Saturday, 9/30 at the Koret Auditorium, free tickets available at the de Young website.
In CounterTransference, the audience becomes a voyeur to an intimate session between a client and their spirited, yet slightly unconventional, mental health therapist. Come bear witness to the profound implications of countertransference, Sigmund Freud’s theory oft described as the therapist's predominantly unconscious emotional reaction to the client's contribution.
